This is the first time that NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams will run this combination of left- and right-side tires at Gateway . . . truck series teams do have experience on this tire set-up, however, having already run this same combination at Milwaukee, Memphis and Indianapolis Raceway Park this season . . . truck teams will also run this tire set-up at New Hampshire next weekend . . . as on most NASCAR ovals one-mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Gateway.
