Notes:
Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series will run the same tire codes at Richmond this weekend . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Goodyear brought for teams in these two series to run at Richmond earlier this season . . . with this being Goodyear's intermediate/flat track set-up, major NASCAR teams have a lot of experience on these tire codes . . . in addition to Richmond, teams in NASCAR's top-three series will run this specific tire set-up at Phoenix, New Hampshire, Gateway, Indianapolis Raceway Park, Memphis and Milwaukee this season . . . as on most NASCAR ovals one-mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Richmond.

Testing update:
Goodyear conducted a tire test with Bobby Labonte (No. 43 Petty Enterprises Dodge) and Mark Martin (No. 8 Dale Earnhardt Inc. Chevrolet) at Dover International Speedway this past Wednesday, confirming its tire recommendation for the NASCAR weekend on Sept. 19-21. . . other upcoming tests include confirmation tests at Atlanta (Sept. 16) and Homestead (Oct. 14), and two large scale tests at Indianapolis (Sept. 22-23 and Oct. 6-8).
